An exciting gameof rounders was had, in which nippygrandchildren runners produced a fewhome runs, despite the best efforts ofhelp from Labrador fielders. Therewas also a ‘wheel chair pick up anddress up race’ which produced someodd outfits and a number of highlycompetitive sack races.The Sack RaceTwo tenants hadthe difficult taskof choosing awinner for thepet competition,after deepdeliberation thejudges chose thebearded dragon;the competitionJake with his awardwinning reptileincluded a snake, a chicken andwaggy tailed dogs, very tough!Everyone had fish and chips for lunchand for those watching theirwaistlines, the kitchen staff madedelicious salad platters.A great day was had by all, thanks tothe hard work of the staff and fantasticsupport from the tenants, their familiesand friends, who were all willing toparticipate to make it a memorableand fun day for all.AroundtheHouses -Sorrel House<strong>Broadland</strong>Tenant gets firstbook publishedIt has come to our attention thatwe have an author living in ourmidst at Sorrel House inBowthorpe.The title of his first bookto be published is THEESCAPE by SteveBrusselen.
