In polycistronic pre-mRNAs only thesequences of the <strong>in</strong>itial dsRNA are silenced. RNAdegradation is at the level of nucleus and cytoplasm.WHAT HAPPENS? WHY is DEGRADATIONtransmissible through the whole organism??
