Theyhave been designed to handle a wide variety ofpressing applications, including XRF and IRsample preparation. All Presses are fullycompatible with Specac dies and other samplepreparation accessories.The presses enable the controlled applicationand release of applied load and canaccommodate large samples up to 200mm indiameter. The LCD display shows press statusand load conditions giving a digital display ofload applied.The power unit is extremely quiet and operatesbelow 62dB(A). Fitted with PETG safety guardsas standard, the Atlas Series Power Pressesare fully CE marked to comply with strictEuropean regulations.The Atlas Series Power Presses have agenerous working distance of up to 155mmbetween the pressing faces and are suitable forthe preparation of KBr discs for infrared analysisusing Specac evacuable pellet dies.
