The relationship between Sarasvati and<br />

Brahmi is one more piece of evidence<br />

that interlocks with other similar<br />

evidence from archaeology and literature<br />

linking the Harappan and Ganga<br />

civilizations. It opens up a new direction<br />

for a further study of the Sarasvati script.<br />

The beginnings of the Sarasvati script<br />

remain shrouded in mystery. Might these<br />

beginnings have had any connections<br />

with the writing of the Sumerians is a<br />

tantalizing question.<br />
