Services diversions,acoustic linings, screeds, new lifts and external works. This project involved the various professionalsworking together in situ on the design of a complicated and largely unknown building structure.ChallengesIt was agreed that we would commence on site without full design sign off on the basis wewould work jointly with the client’s project team to achieve an early completion with design andcost agreed throughout the project.This resulted in a daily assessment of the challenges and solutions identified as we progressedand sixty tonnes of structured steel along with thirty tonnes of temporary propping beingconstructed on the lower two floors of a seven story occupied hotel.
