Thisinnovative farming model allows GSF toharvest 20-25 times a year by using ‘lightrecipes’ optimized for their produce, using85 percent less energy. The result will bean increase in crop yields and reducedoperating costs, while providingconsumers with locally grown, freshvegetables throughout the year. GSF hasinvested firmly to renovate and equip amillion cubic foot indoor growing areaconsisting of fourteen 25 foot tall growingtowers in two climate-controlled growrooms, which use Philips energy-efficientLED solutions tailored to their specificcrops.
