The Residence was designed by<br />
Balthasar Neumann and built from<br />
1720 through 1744. It is considered<br />
one of the most important<br />
palaces in all of Europe. What<br />
makes the Residence so unique<br />
is the combination of architecture<br />
and ingenious interior design. The<br />
frescos above the grand staircase<br />
and in the impressive Imperial<br />
Hall by the Venetian G.B. Tiepolo<br />
are world famous. Don’t forget to<br />
visit the Garden Hall, the White<br />
Hall and the Mirror Cabinet.<br />
