Around The Industry Around the Industry 58 Turner Construction Company Selected to Build Women and Children’s Hospital at the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus Turner Construction Company, the nation’s largest healthcare builder, was selected by Kaleida Health to build a premier Women and Children’s Hospital offering specialized pediatric and women’s health care. This 12-story, 413,700 -squarefoot hospital consisting of 1 level below grade and 11 stories above grade, to be on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, will be the newest addition to the ever increasing Buffalo landscape. Turner most recently partnered with Kaleida Health on the new, state-of-the-art Gates Vascular Institute, which continues to add to the increasing visionary Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. Another notable project, where Turner and Kaleida partnered, was the Buffalo General Medical Center Tower, which was completed in 1988. Chazen Companies Hires New Senior Director of Municipal Engineering The Chazen Companies, a leading provider of engineering, land surveying, environmental, planning, and landscape architecture services, is pleased to welcome William (Bill) Keaton, as the new Senior Director of Municipal Engineering. Mr. Keaton is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 20 years of professional experience. Prior to joining Chazen, Mr. Keaton served in managerial roles for consulting firms in West Virginia and Tennessee where he led a variety of community and government infrastructure projects. Bill’s particular area of expertise lies in process water and wastewater engineering, and he has extensive experience with all aspects grant programs and applications to help communities find funding for their public benefit projects. Mr. Keaton received his BA in civil engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology and his MBA from Webster University. Prior to starting his professional engineering career, Bill served in the military and is a veteran of both Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Erdman Anthony Welcomes New Hire Erdman Anthony welcomes Thomas G. Gamer, EIT, as a Mechanical Engineer in the Rochester Facilities group. Gamer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. The North Chili resident has an Engineer-In-Training license and extensive experience in project management and mechanical design with an interest in HVAC, energy solutions, and green buildings. For nearly 60 years, Erdman Anthony has been providing infrastructure engineering and support services to private industry and government clients. The firm’s Facilities Engineering and Design Services Practice provides building systems design, industrial and process engineering, energy consulting, and commissioning services.
