advertising feature Automatic greasing systems The market leading TWIN heavy duty EP2 automatic greasing system is the preferred or exclusive factory fitted option for many manufacturers including Volvo, Caterpillar, Liebherr, Moxy, Bell and JCB. The dual line TWIN system is ideal for vehicles operating under severe conditions for continuous periods of time. It automatically delivers the correct amount and type of grease to every lubrication point on the machine, thereby prolonging component life, reducing down time and reducing the risk to field operatives. The system monitors the whole lubrication process and alerts the operator, in the event of a fault, via a control lamp in the cab. The greasing cycle (light, medium or heavy duty) mode selector switch is also cab mounted for convenience. Precise metering is guaranteed irrespective of temperature and grease viscosity, ensuring the correct delivery of grease in summer or winter and the system can be easily expanded to include additional points such as grabs, high dumper scoops etc. The OnePlus automatic greasing system has been especially developed to meet a growing demand for a compact 2-grease system for the thicker NLGI 2 grease that is required by particular brands of mini and midsize off-road and industrial machines. All the main components of OnePlus, including its electric pump, electronics and grease reservoir are contained in one compact housing making installation very simple. Distribution blocks, lines and grease nipples are also included and with only two switches, one for the cycle time and one for the grease output, OnePlus is easy to set. Like the larger TWIN system OnePlus delivers the correct quantity of the correct grease at the correct time minimising component wear and maximising machine life. The Compalube is an automatic greasing system that was specifically designed for low maintenance vehicles with a limited number of greasing points and it relied upon a commercial vehicle’s pressurised air system to operate. A new electric version now makes it available for other applications used in the mining and quarrying industry. Automatic engine oil top up Another ‘automatic’ product is Oilmaster, the automatic engine oil top up system, which ensures that the correct level and type of oil is always present reducing the risk of expensive damage. Oilmaster monitors the oil level when the ignition is switched on, using a highly accurate level sensor, and automatically adds oil when necessary, pumping a small quantity of oil from the integrated reservoir to the engine sump. Smart electronics prevent overfilling and Oilmaster’s electronic memory enables quick diagnosis in case of excess oil consumption.
