River and Zoo<br />

During this tour we will make a visit to <strong>Prague</strong> Zoo. The journey from the centre of <strong>Prague</strong> will be made by boat, and<br />
last 75 minutes, and we will have the wonderful opportunity to see <strong>Prague</strong> from the river. <strong>Prague</strong> zoo was ranked as<br />
no. 7 on Forbes Traveler Magazine‘s World‘s Best Zoos list in 2007. It has a number of fun little play areas for children,<br />
a petting zoo, a viewing train, and a short chair-lift for older kids. The starts in the centre and ends at the zoo, from<br />
where you can return to <strong>Prague</strong> either by boat, tram or by road transfer (return leg not included).<br />
Puppets and Marionettes<br />
Duration: 4 hours<br />
<strong>Prague</strong> is one of the world centres for puppets and marionettes, and is the headquarters of the International Puppetry<br />
Association (UNIMA), founded in 1929. During this tour we will tour the professional workshop of a famous puppet<br />
maker, Pavel Truchlar, and view his collection of top-class marionettes. You will then choose from 22 unique characters<br />
and the puppet maker will assist you to make your own marionette. If you provide some photographs it is even possible<br />
to have made a marionette of yourself, or a loved one!<br />
The tour includes entrance to the workshop as a guest of the puppet maker on a private basis, the facilities to make<br />
your own marionette, and refreshments.<br />
