A-Bay Specification
Standard Door Bay with Pelmet
Head Trim
Stove enamelled to any BS4800 or RAL colour. Designed to
allow height adjustment with pelmet assembly. An MDF veneered
profile is also available to match Komfort’s Klassic partitioning
system.
Pelmet
18mm thick high density MFC/Veneered panel edged in
matching PVC/hardwood. Supplied oversize and cut to suit.
Right Hand Door
18mm thick high density MFC/Veneered panel edged in
matching PVC/hardwood. Fitted with Espagnolet lock.
Espagnolet Lock
Supplied in black plastic with a two point fixing, top and bottom
around steelpins firmly secured into aluminium structural beams.
Optional satin plated knob available. (See page 92.)
Left Hand Door
18mm thick high density MFC/Veneered panel edged in
matching PVC/hardwood. Fitted with plastic door seal.
Scribing Panel

18mm thick high density MFC/Veneered panel edged in
matching PVC/hardwood. Exposed edges protected with
aluminium or MDF sections as head and skirting detail.
Hinges*
Each door is fitted with 3 nickel plated hinges with optional door
restraint assembly.
Skirting*
Stove enamelled to any BS4800 or RAL colour, clip on assembly.
An MDF veneered profile is also available to match Komfort’s
Klassic partitioning system.
Bay shown as ‘Built-In’ configuration, veneered finish,
scribed each end with cloaking panels.

This bay is available in all width options, 400mm, 500mm, 600mm,
800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm. (As shown adjacent.)
The ‘A-Bay’, is constructed from two structural side panels and two
structural shelves. The structure is cladded with two doors, a pelmet
and scribed each end, finished in either MFC or veneer. Exposed and cut
edges are protected with aluminium or timber trims. Delivered flat packed
with scribing and pelmet panels supplied oversize and cut to suit.
Designed for large volume lateral and box filing or as coat cupboards.
The volume of storage is dependent on floor to ceiling height and
required pelmet size. This can be calculated using pages 103-104
illustrating all filing permutations. The aluminium posted structural
supports, transmit all load to the fully adjustable support pads.
To meet everchanging needs, office personnel can easily re-position
internal fittings.
Overall Bay Depth is 430mm (usable internal depth is 380mm)
