D-Bay Specification
Display Bay with Drawers
Head Trim
Stove enamelled to any BS4800 or RAL colour. Designed to allow
height adjustment with pelmet assembly. An MDF veneered profile
is also available to match Komfort’s Klassic partitioning system.
Pelmet
18mm thick high density MFC/veneered panel edged in matching
PVC/hardwood. Supplied oversize and cut to suit.
Scribing Panel
(See page 91 for detailed information.)
18mm thick high density MFC/veneered panel edged in matching
PVC/hardwood. Exposed edges protected with aluminium or MDF
sections as head and skirting detail.
Display Bay
Constructed using 18mm thick high density MFC/veneered panels.
Bay is pre-assembled and slots between two structural shelves.
Bay provides open display area or storage for files or other
articles. Bay excludes MFC/veneered/glass shelves and doors.
Drawers
18mm thick high density MFC/veneered panel edged in matching
PVC/hardwood. Each drawer is fitted to a pull out filing frame
(page 104, picture 11) with a non-lockable knob.
Skirting
Stove enamelled to any BS4800 or RAL colour, clip on assembly.
An MDF veneered profile is also available to match Komfort’s
Klassic partitioning system.
Bay shown as ‘Built-In’ configuration, veneered finish,
scribed each end with cloaking panels.
This bay is available in three width options 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm.

The ‘D-Bay’, is constructed from two structural side panels and three
structural shelves. The structure is cladded with three drawer fronts,
display unit a pelmet and scribed each end, finished in either MFC or
veneer. Exposed and cut edges are protected with aluminium or timber
trims. Delivered flat packed with scribing and pelmet panels supplied
oversize and cut to suit.
Designed for lateral filing and open display. The volume of storage is
limited to three drawers. The aluminium posted structural supports,
transmit all load to the fully adjustable support pads. To meet
everchanging needs, office personnel can easily re-position
internal fittings.
Overall Bay Depth is 430mm (usable internal depth is 380mm)
