2009-10<br />
Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team for the second straight season…<br />
Started all 30 games, averaging 7.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per contest…<br />
Finished second in the MAAC with 1.6 blocks per game…Had first career<br />
double-digit scoring game with 11 points in the win over Maryland Eastern<br />
Shore on Nov. 22…Notched first career double-double against Elon on<br />
Dec. 1, posting career-highs with 17 points and 11 rebounds in 37 minutes<br />
of action…Also had four blocks in that game…Swiped a career-high five<br />
steals against Cornell on Dec. 19…Went 8-for-8 at the free throw line<br />
against Iona on Jan. 5…Registered second double-double of the season<br />
with 10 points and 11 boards at Rider on Jan. 31…Played a career-high<br />
38 minutes against Niagara in the MAAC Tournament (March 5).<br />
2008-09<br />
Selected to the MAAC All-Academic Team…Saw action in 22 games,<br />
making 11 starts…Missed eight games in the middle of the season due<br />
to injury…Tallied 26 points, 49 rebounds and 14 blocks for the season…<br />
Grabbed a career-high six rebounds twice (Nov. 16 at Massachusetts,<br />
Nov. 25 at Hofstra)…Recorded four points in three successive games,<br />
including the home win over Sacred Heart on Nov. 30 where she added<br />
three blocks in a career-high 34 minutes…Distributed a career-best three<br />
assists at Siena on Feb. 1.<br />
2007-08<br />
Appeared in four games before missing the rest of the season with an<br />
injury…Scored six points on 3-for-7 shooting and added four rebounds in<br />
her collegiate debut vs. Saint Joseph’s (Dec. 1)…Grabbed five rebounds<br />
against Howard (Dec. 2)…Swatted seven blocks, one shy of the school<br />
record, in 21 minutes of action in the home win over Saint Peter’s (Dec. 9).<br />
BEFORE MANHATTAN<br />
Named St. Barnabas High School’s Most Valuable Player in 2004-05,<br />
2005-06 and 2006-07 after earning Most Improved Player honors in 2003-<br />
04…Presented with the Coach’s Award 2005-06...Also named Student-<br />
Athlete of the Year four times…Selected to Byrum Hills Tournament all-star<br />
team 2005-06 and also won Byrum Hills Tournament Most Valuable Player<br />
in 2006-07...Also played soccer at St. Barnabas.<br />
PERSONAL<br />
Daugher of Donna and Fitzroy Peters...Has three siblings: Fitzroy Jr., Gary<br />
and Jesmin...All are first-generation Americans…Brother, Gary, ran track<br />
at Rutgers…Majoring in history with a minor in counseling…Born October<br />
