double-digit scoring game with 11 points in the win over Maryland Eastern
Shore on Nov. 22…Notched first career double-double against Elon on
Dec. 1, posting career-highs with 17 points and 11 rebounds in 37 minutes
of action…Also had four blocks in that game…Swiped a career-high five
steals against Cornell on Dec. 19…Went 8-for-8 at the free throw line
against Iona on Jan. 5…Registered second double-double of the season
with 10 points and 11 boards at Rider on Jan. 31…Played a career-high
38 minutes against Niagara in the MAAC Tournament (March 5).
2008-09
Selected to the MAAC All-Academic Team…Saw action in 22 games,
making 11 starts…Missed eight games in the middle of the season due
to injury…Tallied 26 points, 49 rebounds and 14 blocks for the season…
Grabbed a career-high six rebounds twice (Nov. 16 at Massachusetts,
Nov. 25 at Hofstra)…Recorded four points in three successive games,
including the home win over Sacred Heart on Nov. 30 where she added
three blocks in a career-high 34 minutes…Distributed a career-best three
assists at Siena on Feb. 1.
2007-08
Appeared in four games before missing the rest of the season with an
injury…Scored six points on 3-for-7 shooting and added four rebounds in
her collegiate debut vs. Saint Joseph’s (Dec. 1)…Grabbed five rebounds
against Howard (Dec. 2)…Swatted seven blocks, one shy of the school
record, in 21 minutes of action in the home win over Saint Peter’s (Dec. 9).
BEFORE MANHATTAN
Named St. Barnabas High School’s Most Valuable Player in 2004-05,
2005-06 and 2006-07 after earning Most Improved Player honors in 2003-
04…Presented with the Coach’s Award 2005-06...Also named Student-
Athlete of the Year four times…Selected to Byrum Hills Tournament all-star
team 2005-06 and also won Byrum Hills Tournament Most Valuable Player
in 2006-07...Also played soccer at St. Barnabas.

Daugher of Donna and Fitzroy Peters...Has three siblings: Fitzroy Jr., Gary
and Jesmin...All are first-generation Americans…Brother, Gary, ran track
