Among the 209 members in the Hall of Fame, 11 were members of the Lady Jaspers’ women’s basketball program. MARIANNE REILLY ’82 (INDUCTED 1992) Manhattan’s first female inducted into the Hall of Fame. First Lady Jaspers basketball player to score 1,000 points, she finished her career with 1,305 points and 860 rebounds. As a junior, led the team to its first-ever winning season (17-12), averaging 15 points and nine rebounds. LISA TOSCANO ’79 (INDUCTED 1994) One of the Manhattan College’s true pioneers of women’s athletics. Four-year captain and co-founder of the women’s varsity basketball program. Also helped establish the softball program. Competed in volleyball and was one of the first female members of the crew team. Long-time athletic trainer for Manhattan’s men’s and women’s teams. SHEILA TIGHE ’84 (INDUCTED 1995) Scored 2,412 career points, the highest total ever compiled by a Manhattan College basketball player, male or female. Established eight Lady Jaspers records, including most points in one game (45), most field goals in a game (18) and most career steals (310). All-American selection in 1984. Former Northeast Player of the Year. Twotime Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Year. STACEY JACK EDWARDS ’87 (INDUCTED 1997) Graduated second on the Lady Jaspers’ all-time list with 1,665 points and 833 career rebounds. Ranked among the nation’s top 10 with a free throw percentage of .850 in 1986. Earned All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference honors that season. Earned MAAC All-Academic Team honors three times. Academic All-American as a senior. SUSAN NANGLE NOE ’96 (INDUCTED 2002) Two-time captain of women’s basketball team. Became third Lady Jasper to score 1,000 points and is currently ranked seventh on the all-time scoring list with 1,198 career points. Named to several All-Conference and All-Academic teams. BRIDGET ROBESON ’88 (INDUCTED 2002) Four-year starter on women’s basketball team. Led Lady Jaspers to first MAAC Championship and first NCAA Tournament berth in 1987. Fifth Lady Jasper to score 1,000 points. Currently ranked 12th all-time with 1,145 career points. Seventh on the Manhattan all-time scoring list with 1,214 points. As a senior in 1990, named MAAC Tournament MVP and Metropolitan Player of the Year as a co-captain. LEIGH ANN WALKER FINLEY ’91 (INDUCTED 2004) A four-year starter on the women’s basketball team. Helped lead the Lady Jaspers to the MAAC Championship in 1990 and graduated as the school’s all-time leading rebounder and as the seventh women’s basketball player to eclipse the 1,000-point barrier. A tenacious rebounder who led the team in that category all four years. Was a Second Team All-MAAC selection her senior season. First Lady Jasper to receive MAAC All-Rookie honors. CARI-LYNN PIOTROWSKI ’92 (INDUCTED 2005) Tallied 1,187 points and pulled down 688 rebounds, numbers that rank her ninth and eighth in those categories, respectively, on the all-time Manhattan College list. A twotime preseason All-MAAC selection. Was named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team in both 1990 and 1991, helping lead the Lady Jaspers to the MAAC Tournament title and NCAA Tournament berth in 1990. A team co-captain her senior season. Her tenacity on both ends of the court made her an invaluable teammate. KATHY SOLANO, COACH (INDUCTED 2006) The first <strong>coach</strong> of the women’s basketball team to be inducted into Manhattan’s Hall of Fame. In her nine seasons at the helm of the Lady Jaspers (1983-84 to 1991-92), she compiled a 138-121 record. She finished her time at Manhattan as the program’s all-time leader in wins, and still remains so. She led the Lady Jaspers to two MAAC Championships in 1987 and 1990. GINA SOMMA ’96 (INDUCTED 2006) Finished her four-year career (1992-96) with 1,838 points, which puts her third on Manhattan’s all-time career scoring list. She is the single-season record holder for points scored, points per game, steals, free throws made, and free throws attempted. She is fifth on the all-time list in rebounds, second in steals, and second in points per game with 16.7.
