LADY JASPERS IN THE MANHATTAN COLLEGE HALL OF FAME<br />
The Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 1979 as a method of<br />
honoring the finest Manhattan College athletes of all-time. Among the 209 members in<br />
the Hall of Fame, 11 were members of the Lady Jaspers’ women’s basketball program.<br />
MARIANNE REILLY ’82 (INDUCTED 1992)<br />
Manhattan’s first female inducted into the Hall of Fame. First Lady Jaspers basketball<br />
player to score 1,000 points, she finished her career with 1,305 points and 860<br />
rebounds. As a junior, led the team to its first-ever winning season (17-12), averaging<br />
15 points and nine rebounds.<br />
LISA TOSCANO ’79 (INDUCTED 1994)<br />
One of the Manhattan College’s true pioneers of women’s athletics. Four-year captain<br />
and co-founder of the women’s varsity basketball program. Also helped establish the<br />
softball program. Competed in volleyball and was one of the first female members of<br />
the crew team. Long-time athletic trainer for Manhattan’s men’s and women’s teams.<br />
SHEILA TIGHE ’84 (INDUCTED 1995)<br />
Scored 2,412 career points, the highest total ever compiled by a Manhattan College<br />
basketball player, male or female. Established eight Lady Jaspers records, including<br />
most points in one game (45), most field goals in a game (18) and most career steals<br />
(310). All-American selection in 1984. Former Northeast Player of the Year. Twotime<br />
Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Year.<br />
STACEY JACK EDWARDS ’87 (INDUCTED 1997)<br />
Graduated second on the Lady Jaspers’ all-time list with 1,665 points and 833 career<br />
rebounds. Ranked among the nation’s top 10 with a free throw percentage of .850<br />
in 1986. Earned All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference honors that season. Earned<br />
MAAC All-Academic Team honors three times. Academic All-American as a senior.<br />
SUSAN NANGLE NOE ’96 (INDUCTED 2002)<br />
Two-time captain of women’s basketball team. Became third Lady Jasper to score<br />
1,000 points and is currently ranked seventh on the all-time scoring list with 1,198<br />
career points. Named to several All-Conference and All-Academic teams.<br />
BRIDGET ROBESON ’88 (INDUCTED 2002)<br />
Four-year starter on women’s basketball team. Led Lady Jaspers to first MAAC<br />
Championship and first NCAA Tournament berth in 1987. Fifth Lady Jasper to score<br />
1,000 points. Currently ranked 12th all-time with 1,145 career points.<br />

DONNA SEYBOLD ’90 (INDUCTED 2003)<br />
Helped lead Manhattan to two MAAC Tournament championships and two NCAA<br />
Tournament bids, including the school’s first in 1987. Seventh on the Manhattan<br />
all-time scoring list with 1,214 points. As a senior in 1990, named MAAC Tournament<br />
MVP and Metropolitan Player of the Year as a co-captain.<br />
LEIGH ANN WALKER FINLEY ’91 (INDUCTED 2004)<br />
A four-year starter on the women’s basketball team. Helped lead the Lady Jaspers<br />
to the MAAC Championship in 1990 and graduated as the school’s all-time leading<br />
rebounder and as the seventh women’s basketball player to eclipse the 1,000-point<br />
barrier. A tenacious rebounder who led the team in that category all four years. Was<br />
a Second Team All-MAAC selection her senior season. First Lady Jasper to receive<br />
MAAC All-Rookie honors.<br />
CARI-LYNN PIOTROWSKI ’92 (INDUCTED 2005)<br />
Tallied 1,187 points and pulled down 688 rebounds, numbers that rank her ninth and<br />
eighth in those categories, respectively, on the all-time Manhattan College list. A twotime<br />
preseason All-MAAC selection. Was named to the MAAC All-Tournament Team<br />
in both 1990 and 1991, helping lead the Lady Jaspers to the MAAC Tournament title<br />
and NCAA Tournament berth in 1990. A team co-captain her senior season. Her<br />
tenacity on both ends of the court made her an invaluable teammate.<br />
KATHY SOLANO, COACH (INDUCTED 2006)<br />
The first <strong>coach</strong> of the women’s basketball team to be inducted into Manhattan’s Hall<br />
of Fame. In her nine seasons at the helm of the Lady Jaspers (1983-84 to 1991-92),<br />
she compiled a 138-121 record. She finished her time at Manhattan as the program’s<br />
all-time leader in wins, and still remains so. She led the Lady Jaspers to two<br />
MAAC Championships in 1987 and 1990.<br />
GINA SOMMA ’96 (INDUCTED 2006)<br />
Finished her four-year career (1992-96) with 1,838 points, which puts her third on Manhattan’s<br />
all-time career scoring list. She is the single-season record holder for points scored,<br />
points per game, steals, free throws made, and free throws attempted. She is fifth on the<br />
all-time list in rebounds, second in steals, and second in points per game with 16.7.
