Background
telSPACE was the first MVNE to hit the USA’s telecommunications market, founded March 1998. The
company enables any organisation in any industry to sell convergent communications services including
mobile, Internet, long distance telephony, local calling and VoIP on one ubiquitous operating
platform. The company provides a turnkey system that enables its MVNO clients to have integrated and
automated network activations, rating systems, billing systems, tax calculations, order fulfilment, carrier
QA, customer care and revenue assurance.
telSPACE currently supports 29 MVNOs including: Telispire, Payless Cellular, BMA / Lucky Wireless,
Xtreme Mobile, Venture Mobile, Fusion Mobile, US Mobile, Crystal Clear Wireless, Nexus Mobile, Simpro
PCS and Covista.
On the wireless side, telSPACE has integrated with and has 100% automation with Sprint, Verizon, and
Cingular (the three main MNOs in the USA). The company has patented technology allowing it to support
prepaid services for all network operators.
telSPACE has a consulting division, Telmage Consulting, which helps its clients price and differentiate its
services in the marketplace. These consulting services come complimentary with the telSPACE billing
system.
The telSPACE back office systems are built and supported by AT&T Wireless’, Nordstrom’s and
Southwestern Bell’s mobile executives as well as senior ex-Microsoft engineers.
The telSPACE operating platform provides its clients the ability to market communication services as
specified by the client while also conforming operationally to system limitations.
