DEUTZ –FAHR PRESENTS THE NEW AGROVITIS 150-175-200 GRAPE HARVESTER
MACHINES
Bologna,12 nd November 2008; Deutz-Fahr continues towards its full-line product
range. The brand belonging to the Treviglio (Italy) based Group now includes the new
Agrovitis 150, 175 and 200 self-propelled grape harvester machines.
Featuring a horizontal shaking system, DEUTZ-FAHR’s new grape harvesting machines
distinguish themselves on the market because of their exceptional work quality,
combined with versatility and operator comfort. Indeed, the unique characteristics of
this range include the presence of only one conveyor belt and one side tank, for
significantly easier unloading operations.
DEUTZ-FAHR’s harvesting machines are also equipped with an optional de-stemmer
which guarantees that the grapes are thoroughly cleaned before being placed on the
conveyor belt. The product tank offers a total capacity of up to 2800 litres. Agrovitis
tractors are equipped with a Deutz 2012 engine with 6 cylinders, 6057 cc turbo
intercooler, with electronic control unit with 3 power levels (157 HP/115 kW, 175
HP/129 kW and 200 HP/147 kW). Traction is very high even when working on sloping
ground, thanks to the “Twin Lock” 4-wheel drive system and the integral leveling of
the machine body. For increased efficiency, load sensing hydraulic pumps and
controls are used on the machines.
The High Comfort cab ensures operator comfort and is positioned in the center of the
machine. With its heating and ventilation system, electrically adjusted and heated rear
view mirrors and a glass floor for a better view of the vines and the front axle, it
provides an excellent working environment for the driver. In addition to ensuring
improved visibility, the wide glass surface means that the operator can easily check
the grape bunches entering the bucket. Air conditioning is available as an option.
Modern technology enhances the operator comfort and the machine output, with a
system that allows 5 independently adjustable harvesting programs to be stored in
the driver control system for differing crop conditions.
Lastly, ultrasound is used to control the machine height, while cruise control ensures
precise and complete harvesting output at all times.
