themed relaxation areas.
First of all we could not resist
the lure of an 18M infinity hydro
pool.
Despite the rain, this was both
refreshing, invigorating and
relaxing.
The pool and spa nestles
among pine trees and a nearby
lake but feels a million miles
from anywhere.
After this we opted for the fire
and ice section.
Some serious heat in a
stunning sauna combined with
ice did certainly make for a
good start.
After exploring a little more,
we enjoyed sitting in near
silence in one of the relaxation
rooms, with stunning designer
chairs which made you feel
weightless and very relaxed.
By now, we wanted some
refreshment and located as part
of the spa is the vitale spa cafe.
With seating indoors or
outside and serving healthy or
not so healthy snacks.
Champagne and Prosecco
is available if you really want to
endulge.
As the time had whisked by,
it was now 2-15 and time for our
treatments.
A stunning treatments area
awaits, very modern and of a
stunning standard.
Ruth enjoyed an exfoliation,
combined with a massage and
a facial and I enjoyed a back
massage, shoulder and scalp
massage.
By now total relaxation had
led me feeling as if I had been
away for days.
A candlelit relaxation area is
perfect to just chill out after a
treatment which was excellent.
It was time now to go see
what our spa suite was like, we
had been given an electronic
wristband earlier which was
excellent and reminiscent of a
James Bond film as we could
access our room and also pay
for services using this.
When we were shown to our
room, we were very impressed.
We have stayed in some of
the finest hotels worldwide and
this does not disappoint.
We did not expect such
quality, space and standard of
furnishings.
The service and standard
was truly five star.
Huge Double Bed, Large
Balcony with round bath
and seating area with quirky
relaxing furniture and a table to
enjoy drinks or dinner.
A separate living area with
log effect fires, Bose sound
system, blu ray player and huge
flat screen TVS make for a very
impressive suite.
A dining and kitchen area
also features and the chocolate
covered strawberries and
apricots upon arrival are a nice
touch.
There is an option as part of a
package to use one of the Parcs
many restaurants or dine in and
have a take away delivered.
We chose to dine in and
feast ourselves on a Chinese
banquet, after all we deserved
it after all our health conscious
effort earlier.
We enjoyed dinner on our
private balcony overlooking
the lake from our fifth floor
apartment and opted for a
romantic film.
Next Morning, breakfast was
enjoyed on our balcony before
we spent another enjoyable
day exploring the many steam
rooms and relaxation areas.
Check out is midday.
But due to the close proximity
of our car and all facilities close
to hand, we put our luggage
into the car and stayed for
another day.
After lunch we explored and
actually ventured into Center
Parcs and enjoyed walking and
just relaxing.
We cannot emphasise
enough, that the standard and
quality of service, treatments
and the stunning Aqua Sana
are truly five star and as good
as we have experienced.
The spa break combined with
a suite is perfect for couples
and highly recommended for
those who need to recharge but
with very limited time.
We enjoyed it so much
we are looking forward to
returning.
