Sun Cafe Sunninghill has recently
reopened after an extensive
refurbishment with an emphasis
on fresh healthy eating. All the dishes
are made on the premises including
cakes, savouries & bread creating a daily
changing menu using the freshest seasonal
ingredients.
A warm & friendly service coupled
with the new décor of grey hues and off
whites makes it a relaxing and informal
environment to visit for breakfast, lunch or
coffee. The striking deli counter offers a
colourful array of freshly prepared salads
and savoury items to choose from to eat on
the premises or take away. The new grab
and go counter offers those wanting a quick
bite to select from the range of paninis,
baguettes or toasties.
Freshly made salads each day include
broccoli, broad bean, pea, mint tossed in
an orange, honey mustard dressing or the
roasted sweet potato & butternut squash
sprinkled with pomegranate & feta to the all
time classic favourites such as Greek salad
and crunchy coleslaw.
Breakfast is a popular choice with freshly
baked pastries including their famed
almond croissants. For those wanting a
more substantial start to the day the English
breakfast with homemade bloomer bread is
a must or equally as popular is the honey
& mustard roasted ham & eggs benedict.
Team this with one of the daily juices
squeezed to order such as – apple, carrot,
celery & ginger gives a great boost to start
to the day.
Gluten free dishes are expanding by
popular demand and include a home
baked lemon polenta & almond slice,
orange shortbread and a make to order
toastie selection.
Our home baked cakes and treats are
proving to be the best in Sunninghill. Again
the mouth watering selection changes daily
but expect to delight in decadent brownies,
apple & date slice to carrot, cinnamon &
orange cake or a lemon drizzle with lemon
curd cake.
Open Monday to Saturday from 8am to
5pm. No reservations are required. Sun
Cafe is located on the main high street in
this thriving village just outside of Ascot.
