30TH Sept 2015.
Guests can treat themselves to a tipple
on the terrace and relish Oli Martin’s
sensational menus in the fifteenth century
dining room, before drifting off in one of the
ten luxurious rooms or the stylish loft suite.
You may recognise the hotel and
restaurant from BBC comedy ‘The Trip’,
in which Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan
enjoyed the culinary delights that Hipping
Hall has to offer.
A menu full of fabulous food:
At Hipping Hall you will be served with
the ‘classic flavours with a twist’ created
by Lancashire-born chef Oli Martin, using
fresh, seasonal and regional ingredients,
Oli’s ever-changing menus are not only set
to satisfy your taste buds but they are also
a treat for the eyes. With a three-course
lunch, an a la carte offering, afternoon tea
and a seven-course taster menu and a topnotch
wine list available, nobody will leave
hungry.
A place to relax:
With all ten of the stylish bedrooms having
handmade ‘Westmorland’ beds, a range
of bespoke Herdwick wool filled beds,
created specially by bed makers Harrison
Spinks, dressed in wonderfully luxurious
cotton linen, you will be sure to have good
night’s sleep at Hipping Hall. And the peace
and quiet policy means no one running
around in corridors or talking outside doors
– all you will wake up to is the blissful smell
of home cooked breakfast. For something
a little more than a room there is the
luxurious Tatham Suite, named in honour of
the man who built the Hall, Edward Tatham.
Created in the ancient oak beams of the
building, this attic suite is calm, uncluttered
