RECOMMENDATION: • That Council award the tender for the supply of one (1) new 2012 Jeep Compass to 6910009 Canada Inc. (Vaughan Chrysler) for the purchase price of $21,518.00 plus applicable taxes. 2. SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND: The Public Works department called for tenders for the supply of a new four wheel drive Compact Utility Vehicle for use by the Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP). This is a scheduled replacement for the 2002 Jeep Liberty currently used by the WPCP. Each of the local new car dealerships were invited to tender on the supply of the vehicle and the opportunity was posted on the Town’s website. There were five bids submitted in response to Tender No. PW2012-03. 25 of 40
