done by two parties in Norway (Aljaž Anderle and Klemen Premrl;
Aleš and Nejc Česen). Mixed routes of extreme grades were climbed
(up to M12+) in Switzerland and Italy (Marko Lukić).
Bad weather has prevented more frequent big face ascents in Western
Matjaž Jeran.
Slovenia
Proverbially difficult winter climbs in Julian Alps have become more
popular with younger alpinists, earning valuable experience for future
use in Patagonia and the Himalyas. Several first winter ascents were
done in Loška stena while some parties committed themselves to
repeat big traditional routes.
Throughout the summer, several alpine free ascents were made – Maček
in Križevnik, Metropolis in Triglav, Cupido in Aniča kuk (CRO), etc.
There were new lines added in Prisojnik, Rušica, Debela Peč, etc.
English summaries written by Aljaž Anderle, data provided by Anja
Peternelj. The length of individual summaries and their linear order do
not reflect any kind of ascent evaluation ranking.
