the captured stereoscopic image was
corrected for the barrel distortion and the
The floating image system is a device to
display the object image in the air between
last surface of the display and an observer.
The object image is displayed through the
optical system which was constructed by
triple lenses and it provides a pseudo 3D
depth to an observer. The haptic system is
a device to synchronize the physical force
and the selected object image which were
recommended to move by user. Specially,
the physical force is responsible for provides
effective realism to an observer when
the floated image and the core of haptic
device were placed and synchronized in the
same plane. In investigation, it was focused
on to embody effectively realistic presence
of the object to an observer by floating
image system merged with a haptic device.
Noncontact, quick measurements of displacement
and surface deformation of diffusely
reflecting surfaces are very important for
mechanical design, nondestructive inspection,
and quality control. In this paper we proposed
new method of displacement measurement
using Fourier transform in 2-step
phase-shifting interferometry. Using Michelson
interferometer we obtain digital interferograms
on CCD device. Displacement reconstruction
is calculateded by a phase unwrapping
technique.
