London’s biggest jazz festival.
The ten –day event takes
place across a range of venues

from 1 November, Cathay Pacific will increase to a twice daily non-stop service
between Auckland and Hong Kong with schedules that are designed to provide
maximum and easy connections throughout the world. And a change from an Airbus
A340 to a B747-400 aircraft from 13 November (until end February 2010) will mean
even more seats and a First Class cabin too.
Even more exciting, from 1 October all flights to and from Auckland will be on Cathay
Pacific’s newly refurbished aircraft. Changes include fully lie-flat beds in Business
Class and the innovative fixed back Economy Class seat, which reclines within a fixed
cocoon shell and means your space will never be impinged on again mid-flight.

Although based in Melbourne, this annual horse racing event
is celebrated across Australia and brings the entire nation to
a standstill. A jubilee of fashion, style, Champagne, hats and
horses, the race takes place in the middle of Melbourne Cup
Carnival with a number of events before and after the big day.
