Congratulations must go to all players, coaches
and referees for their exceptional contribution to
the season just passed. The level of Team Work,
Sportsmanship, Courage and Commitment shown
by all has been outstanding.
I would like to acknowledge all Open Rugby players
and thank them for their efforts over the years playing
Rugby at Terrace. These young men have played
Rugby at Terrace, some since 2008. The Terrace
Community is very proud of you and in your final year
at Terrace we want to publically thank you for pulling
on the Red and Black jersey.
Season Snap Shot:
THE LOCKER ROOM
• 39 teams played Rugby at Terrace with over
750 boys participating in the program;
• Five outstanding days at Tennyson;
• Eight schoolboy-based referees;
• Overall win percentage of 70 per cent;
• Averaging 26 point for and 11 against per game;
• Winning each day overall with the exception of
the Nudgee day;
• Undefeated teams - 16E, 15D, 15E, 14A, 14F,
13E, 12D, 12E;
• Teams that lost only one game - 15C, 14C,
14E, 13C, 12A, 12B, 12C.
Ken Long Memorial Trophy - Congratulations to 4th
XV player Sam Rex for being named this year’s Ken
Long Memorial award winner. Sam was a worthy
recipient showing the highest level of sportsmanship
and commitment in his Open Year of Rugby.
Team Man Awards - Congratulation to the below

Award which were presented to the players who
make an outstanding contribution to their team both
at training and in a game.
