Maintain a sterile fluid path
The unique NovaSeal crimping tool crimps and cuts a pinch-
piped tube in one simple motion. This pinch-pipe/tube
combination along with the crimping tool provides you with
a sterile means for cutting and separating your Mobius ®
disposable assembly. It ensures that sterility is maintained
and that the fluid is securely protected from the outside
environment at all times.
Part of your Mobius Assembly
The patented design of the crimping tool first crimps and
then cuts the metallic pinch-pipe pre-mounted on the tubing
of your disposable assembly, maintaining sterility. As part of
the Mobius family of disposable bioprocessing technologies,
NovaSeal crimpers enable the transporting or transferring of
fluids and for sterile sampling.
The right tool, the right size
NovaSeal crimpers are offered in 2 sizes; the manual crimping
tool can be used on 3 mm ID x 6 mm OD silicone tubing and
the battery-powered crimping tool can be used on ½-inch to
¾-inch OD tubing.

Easy to use
A sterile cut is simple to make. In one motion, the
tube of your disposable assembly can be crimped,
then cut.
1. Using your crimping tool, place the metallic pinch pipe
between the lower and upper cutting tools.
2. Seal and cut the tube in one motion.
3. The cut is secure and the two individual paths remain
sterile.
