Hendricks County Shrine Club
John Essex II
Imperial Sir John A. Cinotto presents
Past Potentate Jerry Markovich with a
plaque which recognizes his support of
the annual East/West Shrine Football
Game.
Potentate Ron Elliott greets newly created
Nobles Patrick N. Carter and
Anthony W. Sandlin.
Aarrgghhh maties! Though your
Hendricks County Shrine Club has been
absent from these pages for a few
months, the Pirates are still alive, kickin’
and plunderin’ whenever and wherever
possible.
March is a month where, thanks to
St. Patrick’s Day, everyone can be Irish.
Now, thanks to HCSC, everyone can
also be a pirate this month! Just cut out
and wear the special “Kiss Me I’m Pirish”
illustration included in this article and
voila, you’re a kiss plunderin’ Irish pirate
who DARES others to pinch you. Enjoy!
If you have a piratical spirit and
would like to live the life of a pirate for
more than just this month, HCSC meets
at 7 p.m. every month on the third
Thursday. March 20 is the meeting date
this month. The meeting will take place
at Plainfield Lodge #653 at the corner of
US 40 and Center Street.
HCSC always welcomes new
members, is a people-oriented Shrine
Club, and continues to be one of the
best little Shrine Clubs in Shrinedom.
Shriners reluctant to commit to a parade
Unit or Club because of all of the practice
time usually required will love
HCSC. If HCSC had a motto it would be,
“Practice? Pirates don’t need no stinkin’
practice!”
As always, please continue to lift
up in prayer all of our U.S. service men
and women and their families. Es
Selamu Aleikum and GOD BLESS
AMERICA!
