Dramatic Cast
Hello again from your Dramatic
Cast.
Things just keep rolling along. We
had another great circus – lots of kids on
Thursday and Friday mornings and then
a nice family turnout for the other performances.
Dramatic Cast Past President
Noble Larry Davis did another magnificent
job of organizing the Nobles of the
Cast into a smooth functioning, doormonitoring,
ticket-taking, and directiongiving
unit. It was a thing of beauty.
Noble Larry was so impressive that our
former Door General Noble Tom Kepler
was heard saying, “I just don’t believe
it.”
From there the Cast rolled on to
another Brass Hat night. Illustrious Sir
Jerry Markovich, his Divan, numerous
Past Potentates and a roomful of Nobles
had a very nice dinner. The highlight of

STANA Officer
Our treasurer, Past Potentate Larry
D. Jefferson, was elected as First Vice
President of STANA (Shrine Treasurers
Association of North America) at the
treasurers’ annual business meeting in
Denver.
The purpose of STANA is to:
Provide publications and newsletters
that will provide Shrine Temples
with sources of valuable information;
Provide a mid-winter meeting for
training and exchange of ideas which
will assist Temples in solving their
financial and accounting problems;
Assist all Temple treasurers in the
performance of their duties as Chief
Financial Officer of their respective
Temple.
Congratulations to Larry — one of
Murat’s best.
the evening was the kind words and stories
Past President Noble Bob Stubbs
shared with all of us, detailing some of
the adventures of our Illustrious Sir Jerry.
It was a fun evening. This event is
now open to Nobles belonging to other
Clubs and Units. The cost is minimal and
covers the social hour, dinner and the
entertainment.
Plan on joining us next year.
Details will be published and posted
when everything is finalized.
It looks like warm weather is with
us again. Get those clubs out and check
the calendar for one of the golf outings.
Speaking of the Brass Hat night –
Past Potentate Ed Evans 33º was with us
for the evening. The walk may have
been a little slower, but it was still the
same Ed. He worked the room like only
he could. I got to hear about his car and
the problems he had had with some of
his home repairs – all told with a smile
and intended to make you laugh. It was
a privilege to have known him.
Remember those Nobles and their
family members who may be under the
weather and as always, keep them and
our service men and women in your
prayers.
