What’s your color? Were you<br />
aware that each year the Potentate picks<br />
a color for the shirts that the men wear<br />
for his year? Apparently, this is something<br />
that has been going on for many<br />
years and the men love to show their<br />
support of the Potentate by wearing his<br />
shirt! Were you aware that the<br />
Potentate’s lady may have a color too? If<br />
you are like me, I was unaware of that<br />
information until a few years ago. For<br />
some reason, I didn’t pay attention to<br />
the advertisement about the shirts<br />
because I was not aware that the shirts<br />
were for everyone. The Murat Shrine<br />
color this year for the men is medium<br />
blue (same as the Zaring’s year), and the<br />
ladies’ color is turquoise or medium<br />
blue. The turquoise shirt is a pull-over<br />
<strong>with</strong> three-quarter length sleeves (sizes<br />
S-XXXL), cost $30, and the light blue is<br />
an oxford (sizes S-XXXL), cost $40.<br />
These shirts are for everyone who is a<br />
supporter of the Murat Shrine! Let’s<br />
show our colors at all of the upcoming<br />
parades and events. Shirts may be<br />
viewed and ordered at the Fraternal<br />

If you are interested in the southwestern<br />
theme, our own Ladies Oriental<br />
Shrine – Tarum Court #14 has special<br />
shirts that may be ordered by any lady<br />
for this year! They are a beautiful lightweight<br />
denim shirt <strong>with</strong> a southwestern<br />
dream-catcher and wolf face embroidered<br />
on the back. This unique design<br />
was made especially for Tarum Court<br />
#14 by a L.O.S. and Shrine lady in<br />

his Lady.<br />
