Objectives:<br />

Students will demonstrate the ability to:<br />

• Name the roles of the Aggressor, Kid in the Middle and Target<br />

• Identify the effects of relational aggression<br />

• Label their own behavior and attitudes (feelings) associated with relational<br />

aggression<br />

Essential Question:<br />

Who does relational aggression affect?<br />

Materials:<br />

Classroom copies of the following:<br />

• Reflection Activity 2<br />

• Essential Question 4<br />

• Aggressor, Kid in the Middle, Target definitions<br />

• Relational aggression story cards<br />

• Six feet of ribbon or rope<br />

Procedure:<br />

Display the essential question for this lesson and select a student to read the question<br />

aloud. All students should be thinking of the answer to these questions as the lesson<br />

proceeds.<br />

Ask two volunteers to come to the front of class. Hand them the six feet of ribbon or<br />
