For the layout <strong>for</strong> the report, choose Stepped, Block, or Outline. A preview shows how<br />

each option affects the layout of the report. You can also select portrait or landscape<br />

orientation and specify whether the wizard should adjust the width of each ield so that<br />

ields it on the page. Selecting the option to adjust ield width might cause some text<br />

boxes to display only a portion of the ield’s data.<br />

➤ To create a report with the Report wizard<br />

1. On the Create tab, in the Reports group, click Report Wizard.<br />

2. Use the Tables/Queries list to select the report’s record source, add the ields you<br />

want to use to the Selected Fields list, and then click Next.<br />

3. Specify the ield or ields by which you want to group records in the report. Click<br />

Grouping Options to specify the interval by which to group dates, numeric values,<br />

or text ields, and then click Next.
