Meanwhile, fewer than one <strong>in</strong> three Afghans (30.6%) say that the government and NGOs provide<br />

adequate support (whether somewhat or very) for <strong>in</strong>dividuals who are seriously <strong>in</strong>jured by m<strong>in</strong>es or<br />

unexploded objects. Regional variations are significant, however. Only 17.1% of Kabul residents and<br />

17.4% of Herat residents say m<strong>in</strong>e victims receive sufficient support, compared to 59.1% of residents<br />

<strong>in</strong> Logar and 59.0% of residents <strong>in</strong> Samangan.<br />
