depicted on site plans. Containers shall be located a minimum <strong>of</strong> twenty (20)<br />

feet from all building openings on a durable all weather surface and shall not be<br />

located where visible from any surrounding rights-<strong>of</strong>-way, in any driveways, fire<br />

lanes, pedestrian ways, or parking spaces required to meet the minimum<br />

standards <strong>for</strong> the site.<br />

<strong>4.</strong>17.03. Outdoor Display <strong>of</strong> Merchandise<br />

A. Outside Displays<br />

Outside retail displays (not including seasonal promotions and sales - refer to<br />

Subsection <strong>4.</strong>19.04) shall be permitted during normal business hours when<br />

located on the same lot as an existing retail business that is operating from an<br />

approved building provided that:<br />

1. Outside displays are subordinate and accessory to the existing business;<br />

2. Outside displays are conducted only by the owner or tenant leasing a unit on<br />

the site;<br />

3. Outside displays are limited to the goods and services normally <strong>of</strong>fered by<br />

the owner or tenant leasing a unit;<br />

<strong>4.</strong> Outside displays are consistent with the zoning <strong>of</strong> that parcel;<br />

5. Outside displays do not hinder required access to the site or create safety<br />

hazards;<br />

6. Outside displays are located adjacent to the building and not located within<br />

any portion <strong>of</strong> the vehicular use area; and<br />

7. The outside display area was depicted on a site plan.<br />

B. Vending Machines<br />

A maximum <strong>of</strong> two (2) vending machines per one hundred (100) feet <strong>of</strong> linear<br />

building frontage shall be permitted outside <strong>of</strong> commercial buildings provided<br />

they are located under ro<strong>of</strong>, placed flush against a building wall, and do not<br />

obstruct pedestrian accessibility.<br />

Section <strong>4.</strong>18. Recreational Vehicle Parks<br />

<strong>4.</strong>18.01. Intent<br />

It is the intent <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong> to provide <strong>for</strong> areas to be developed <strong>for</strong> the parking <strong>of</strong><br />

recreational vehicles, travel trailers, motor homes, camping tents, and trailers<br />

occupied as a temporary living quarters in an environment that provides <strong>for</strong><br />

recreational amenities and on-site conveniences. It is further intended that the<br />

individual spaces not be marketed or sold <strong>for</strong> individual ownership, but that the site<br />

be retained in a <strong>for</strong>m <strong>of</strong> single or common ownership.<br />

<strong>4.</strong>18.02. Applicability<br />

The regulations in this section apply to all developments providing <strong>for</strong> the<br />

accommodation <strong>of</strong> transient recreational vehicles, camping tents, and trailers in<br />

zoning districts that allow such uses as permitted, limited, or special exception:<br />
