THE DVS - COMPETENCE IN JOINING TECHNOLOGY
The partner of SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN is the German Welding Society
(DVS – Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e.V.).
As a large technical and scientific association with roughly 19,000 members,
the DVS is a wealth of information for all matters relating to joining technology.
The Society's work focuses on the areas of research, technology, vocational
training, certifications and events. The DVS operates at national and international
level. Thanks to their cooperation with international organisations
and associations, the success of the DVS is recognised worldwide.
IIW ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND CONGRESS
In conjunction with the SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN, the annual Conference
and Congress of the IIW – International Institute of Welding – are being
held at MESSE ESSEN from 11 to 17 September. With 54 member states, the
IIW is the world's largest network for welding technologies and associated
processes. Up to 1,000 experts from all over the world are expected at this
event. The Congress area is directly located at the trade fair, thus offering
both visitors and exhibitors two top-calibre events in one venue at the
same time.
