The trend is highlighted by anumber of recent projects supplied by the company, incorporating the Hueck Volato Mprofile system for sliding and lifting-sliding windows and doors. As aproject solution, Volato Mcan meet the same stringent specifications expected from curtain walls, in accordance with the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology’s standard for systemised building envelopes. Hueck’s Volato M door has successfully passed the 600 Pascals water penetration test pressureat2001 to 2400 Pascals wind pressure, while installed in an aluminium façade.These standards correspond to the CWCT methodology. Volato’s ability to achieve these excellent weather performances has seen it specified in anumber of London residential and mixed-use developments. Facilities management and construction services provider, Carillion, was first to specify the high performance door system initially for Sealco has achieved accreditation across three major ISO standards in quality,health and safety and environmental practice. The standards achieved are ISO 9001 in Quality Management, ISO 14001 in Environmental Management and ISO 18001 in Occupational Health and Safety. The brochure illustrates the fabricator’s GAward-winning Ultimate Rose, timber-alternative PVC-U sash window accepted for use in numerous conservation areas.
