To receive a refund, the student must visit the Adult Education office to complete and submit an<br />
official withdraw form.<br />
1. Withdrawals received more than 72 hours prior to class start date will be refunded at<br />
100% of the tuition cost.<br />
2. Withdrawals received within 72 hours prior to class start date will be refunded at 75% of<br />
the tuition cost.<br />
3. No refunds after class start date.<br />
4. Payment plans - In order to withdraw from a class your account must be current with the<br />
payment plan.<br />
Note: Refunds do not include registration fees.<br />
TESTING OUT OF YEAR 1 AND/OR 2<br />
According to state apprenticeship policy you may challenge the end of year test for years 1 and/or 2.<br />
Applicants for test outs must register and pay a $100 non-refundable fee prior to the test date. Test outs will<br />
be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 9:00 AM in the Career Training Center.<br />
RELATED INSTRUCTION CLASSES<br />
All technical class sessions are held twice a week, Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, from<br />
6:00 PM-9:00 PM. There are two (2) semesters of 24 classes each which make up the state required 144<br />
hours of related instruction per year.<br />
Semester 1 October to January<br />
Semester 2 January to April<br />
MATH/READING CLASS POLICY<br />
Math/Reading classes - All apprenticeship students who are required to attend math or reading classes must<br />
achieve a passing score on the CASAS Workplace Appraisal Form 220 to graduate from the apprenticeship<br />
program.<br />
