support in these areas
SAM Learning
This online homework and exam-preparation
service for secondary schools covers subjects
including English, maths and science through
to modern foreign languages, history,
geography and computing (stand H88).
Breckland Scientific
Breckland has been supporting science
teachers and technicians for more than 25 years
with a range of different products. Breckland
recommends equipment for each of the main
exam boards, in line with the new science
A level and GCSE requirements (stand G355).
Big Brain Maths
Big Brain Maths provides online lessons to
engage students and improve maths’ results.
It uses videos that have been edited to make
students feel that they actually have a teacher
sitting next to them, giving them one-to-one.
Lessons are taught by an experienced teacher,
who uses real-life examples to produce
dynamic lessons (Bett Futures zone).
Sensavis
The 3D Classroom is a visual learning tool
containing subject modules for geography,
science and maths, among others. It allows
users to navigate through interactive, realistic
visualisations and, using a teacher’s own
words and pedagogy, it can adapt the lesson to
help the students interact more easily with the
content (stand H130).
MyLearning
MyLearning has created a multilingual
platform supporting 80 languages compatible
with all mobile devices. Built-in tools enable
teachers and students to be creative, allowing
the capture of video, audio and images (stand
F410).
DoodleMaths
DoodleMaths Secondary Maths is due to
be launched at Bett. As an extension of the
primary version, the app contains 8,000
individually written questions and 300 topic
explanations designed to provide a personal
programme of study for any child working up
to a grade C at GCSE (stand F41).
Boardworks Ltd
Doddle is an online teaching, homework
and assessment resource containing 16,000
presentations, interactive activities and
quizzes across 18 subjects. Its English, maths,
science and ICT and computing tests help
schools to track progress on key skills at key
stage 3. Results are instantly reported to the
online markbook (stand A140).
Focus Educational Software
A publisher of apps and software, Focus
offers products such as Geography River
Studies fieldwork software for GCSE and
A level and also has new Design Technology
and Science Curriculum Apps Packs (stand
F440).
ClickView
ClickView uses educational videos and
television recording to help teachers create
engaging lessons and improve learning
outcomes. Its curriculum specialist, Albert,
helps you find the perfect lesson plan using
learning areas and requirements from the
national curriculum for England (stand B300).
