- NC StatE won 10 of the 21 events, including four of the five relays, in<br />
claiming the 20<strong>15</strong> ACC Men’s Swimming and Diving Championship. Wolfpack<br />
swimmers won a combined 21 medals. NC State finished on top with 1,331<br />
points, ahead of Louisville in second with 1,178 and Virginia Tech in<br />
third (1,123).<br />
- Eight new ACC marks were set during the Championships, including six by<br />
team champion NC State. The Wolfpack relays set new ACC standards in the<br />
200 (1:<strong>15</strong>.62), 400 (2:48.92), and 800 (6:13.14) freestyle relays. Three<br />
student-athletes – Simonas Bilis, Ryan Held, and David Williams – swam on<br />
all three squads, while Andreas Schiellerup (200 FR) and Soeren Dahl (400<br />
& 800 FR) made up the fourth spots.<br />
- NC State’s Simonas Bilis was voted as the 20<strong>15</strong> ACC Championship Most<br />
Valuable Men’s Swimmer by the league’s coaches after winning six gold<br />
medals and one silver.<br />
- Miami freshman Briadam Herrera was named the Most Valuable Men’s<br />
Diver after taking the gold medals in both the 1- and 3-meters.<br />
- Miami senior diver Sam Dorman capped off his five-year career by breaking<br />
the NCAA 3-meter springboard diving record with 529.10 points in the 20<strong>15</strong><br />
NCAA Championships.<br />
- Atlantic Coast Conference swimmers and divers earned 31 All-America<br />
honors and 55 honorable mention All-America honors during the 20<strong>15</strong><br />
NCAA Championships.<br />
- Defending ACC champion NC State was the highest finishing team in the<br />
league at the NCAAs, placing eighth overall with 199.5 points. The Wolfpack<br />
was followed by Louisville (<strong>15</strong>th, 105.5 points), North Carolina (18th, 52.5<br />
points), and Miami (20th, 49 points).<br />
