HIGHLIGHTS<br />
Experience the exhilaration of standing on the<br />
most southerly tip of the UK mainland at Lizard<br />
Point. Watch the ships go by and the turbulent<br />
seas below from this cliff top vantage point.<br />
Bottlenose, Common and Risso dolphins and<br />
mighty basking sharks can all be spotted in the<br />
wide bay off the beach at Coverack, a renowned<br />
playground for aquatic mammals.<br />
<strong>The</strong> 3,000 year old monument of Men-an-Tol<br />
is said to have healing properties, and that by<br />
passing through the granite slab’s hole nine times<br />
a multitude of aches and pains will be cured.<br />
At Levant Mine, a few miles from Land’s End, is<br />
the only Cornish beam engine in the world that<br />
is still in steam on its original mine site.<br />
