Successful consolidation of locations
In the previous 2008 fiscal year, we successfully completed the
consolidation of locations under a plan agreed two years earlier.
Employees at the former locations in Duisburg, Karlsruhe, Colo-
gne and Mainz began work on September 30, 2008, at our facili-
ties in Frankfurt, Fellbach, Munich and Munster. By September
2008, we completed new additions in Fellbach and Munster,
which added hundreds of new workplaces, and leased additional
office space in Frankfurt. The aim of consolidating our locations
is to further improve the efficiency, quality and security of our
products and services. We have also introduced internal and external
measures – the latter in collaboration with local municipalities
– to help integrate employees at their new locations. Most
processes adjusted themselves in just over six months. The entire
consolidation process, which required a high level of flexibility
from employees, has been a success.
Strong together: Finanz Informatik and its subsidiaries
Finanz Informatik offers a broad range of services in collaboration
with its subsidiaries, which provide a number of specialized ser-
vices. For instance, Finanz Informatik Technologie Service offers
IT operating services and IT outsourcing to federal state banks,
partner banks of the Sparkassen Financial Group and additional
companies in the financial sector. Finanz Informatik Solutions
Plus enhances our offerings with tailored application systems and
software engineering support. Inasys develops portfolio management
systems for securities consultation and asset management,
while Star Finanz offers multibank-capable online banking solutions
with its StarMoney product line. Together with these and other
subsidiaries, Finanz Informatik offers customers a wide spectrum of
it services tailored to their needs and those of the market.
