Family Matters

TAKE OWNERSHIP:
I’ll do my part to help create a great group (translation: “I won’t
stick the host/leader with all the work”). The group will be as
good as I make it… I’ll share roles within the group and help
challenge everyone to grow.
FACE CONFLICT:
Community can be very messy, and conflicts may arise. I’ll offer
grace to others and won’t leave the group over disagreements,
realizing that God might use conflict in my spiritual formation in
some way I don’t currently understand.
KEEP IT CONFIDENTIAL:
I’ll vigorously respect confidentiality. What I hear and say in
the group stays in the group (unless a person is a danger to
themselves or others or engaged in illegal activity*).
AS A GROUP DISCUSS HOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO:
• Grow spiritually
• Connect relationally
• Serve intentionally
ALSO DISCUSS:
• Where we will meet?
• How we will handle child care?
• Meeting time (From/Until)
• Day we will meet
*Seeking guidance from one of the pastors at Northview about a Life
Group situation is not considered a violation of group confidentiality.
