Family Matters

Introduction
Watch a television show, catch a movie,
or read a novel—chances are there will
be a romantic relationship as part of the
story.
We are hardwired for relationships;
from the days of Adam and Eve, God
created us with a longing for a partner
to enjoy life with, and, for most of us,
eventually “settle down” to get married
and have children.
However, some people
stay single their entire
lives. Others marry but
don’t have kids. Our
stories and our circumstances
are all unique,
but there are biblical
principles that apply to
each one of us. Whether
you’re single or married, divorced or
widowed, with a house full of kids or an
empty-nester, you are created in the
image of a God who longs for relationship
with you and wants you to build
strong relationships with other people.
In this study, we’ll start learning how to
do relationships God’s way.
