Management Team
James Bracken—Although barely in his thirties, James
already has a fantastic managerial record which includes
steering Sutton United reserves to three consecutive
Suburban League Premier title wins including last season
in which his side remained unbeaten for the whole
campaign. Bracken picked up no less than seven trophies
in 2015.
Joe Davies- Joe’s playing days saw him rise through the
ranks of the youth system at Corinthian-Casuals, into the
reserves and onto the first team. Has since developed
into a fantastic coach and surely still picks up wise words
of wisdom from his father, Tony, who also once held the
Assistant Manager position at Casuals.
Dan Pringle- Dan started his football career at Crystal
Palace, regularly turning out for their youth sides and
playing in the FA Youth Cup. At only 22, he’s by far the
youngest of the coaching set-up but with a serious knee
injury preventing him competing, Dan has taken to a
coaching role.
Carly Doyle - Physio who works hard getting the players
back to full fitness, Carly graduated in Sports Rehab at
St Mary’s in 2006 and was at Met Police before joining
us here at Casuals. In her spare time Carly enjoys long
distance running and has completed the London Marathon
in just over 3 hours.
Playing Squad
Danny Bracken—DannyBracken started his career at
West Ham before moving to Sutton & Tooting, progressing
to the 1st team squad before being signed at the start
of the 2010/2011 season. Danny is now established as
1st team goalkeeper, with well over 170 consecutive first
team appearances to his name – surely a record within
the club.
Danny Dudley—Danny has been a commanding figure
at Centre Back for a couple of seasons now, and is a
previous winner of the ‘most improved player’ award.
Can play across the whole defensive line. Played a huge
part in keeping a clean sheet vs Corinthians for 78
minutes in Brazil in 2015 in front of 30,000 fans. Previous
clubs include Chipstead and Whyteleafe.
Dave Hodges- Dave came to pre-season trials in July
2010 and after some reserve matches progressed to 1st
team duty. What he failed to mention to anyone was that
he played for Glossop North End in the 2009 FA Vase
final at Wembley and was also their leading scorer! Dave
has now made over 100 appearances for the club. His
versatility makes him comfortable anywhere down the
left side.
Juevan Spencer - Skilful winger now in his fourth
season at the club. Has serious pedigree and pace to
burn. Was voted last year’s ‘Most Improved Player of the
Season’. Juevan was formerly on the books at AFC
Wimbledon, Salisbury City and Whyteleafe. Has already
scored more goals this season than his previous three
years combined.
Sekou Kaba—Sekou is a 6’2” attacking midfielder who
joined Corinthian-Casuals in the summer of 2015. Sekou
has amazing ball control which unsurprisingly has already
earned him real Ryman Premier pedigree having
played regular first-team football for Harrow Borough.
Other previous clubs include Sutton United.
Stefan Joseph—Smash’ is an experienced Ryman
league striker who’s played for the likes of East Grinstead
fan favourite, 25 year old Stef has also spent time with
Sutton United, Guildford City, Croydon and Icelandic side
BÍ/Bolungarvík!
Terry Murray—A young defender who joins the club in
July 2015 after winning the Suburban League with Sutton
United. Has immediately gelled well with Danny Dudley
at the back and cemented a place in the first XI.
Warren Morgan—Warren is a talented right-back who
joins us in the summer of 2015. Incredibly cool and calm
on the ball, has no worries in using his pace and ability to
play out of tricky situations. Has previously played for
James Bracken at Sutton United and spent time with
Carshalton Athletic last season.
Ben Cotton—Technically gifted in midfield, Ben is one to
watch. Previously with Sutton United, Ben joined the
Casuals in 2015. Has horrific dress sense.
Ben King—Playing either left back or centre midfield,
Ben’s versatility is his strength. Progressing from Sutton
reserves to the first XI has given him invaluable experience
at a higher level. A personal trainer by trade, Ben
has also turned out for Tonbridge Angels.
Brandon Johnson—This no-nonsense defensive midfielder
is a real ball winner who won honours with Sutton
United’s Youth and Reserve sides before joining Corinthian-Casuals
in 2015. Another player who loves the
camera.
Kevant Serbony—This immensely talented midfielder
has to be one of the toughest players to grace King
George’s in many a year. Kevant has spent time with
AFC Wimbledon, Sutton United and Hampton & Richmond
before coming to Casuals in July 2015.
Josh Uzun—The former Leyton Orient youngster immediately
impressed on his debut in July 2015 and continues
to do so. Josh is a versatile midfielder who can play
anywhere across the park. Josh has a keen eye for goal
and will cause trouble for any defender.
Cherno Mendy—Cherno is a versatile attacking player
that can operate up front or on either wing and has
formed part of the Gambian national side at u17 and u20
level. As a youth player Mendy was at AFC Wimbledon
before leaving for a spell at West Bromwich Albion. Has
also conducted trials at QPR as well as playing for the
likes of Dulwich Hamlet and Grays Athletic.
Emmanuel Akokhia—This exciting and dangerous forward
began his career with Bolton Wanderers and Crystal
Palace before joining AFC Wimbledon, where he first
came to the attention of Staines` boss Marcus Gayle.
Has also played for Harrow Borough before joining Casuals
in 2015.
Matt Reece—A striker that looks dangerous every time
he enters the field. Matt was with James Bracken at Sutton
United where he excelled up top helping to win the
Suburban League Premier title in their unbeaten season.
Charlie Girdler—Imposing centre-back who joined Casuals
in November 2015. Charlie is a multiple national
boxing champion winning titles such as the All England
Amateur Boxing Association junior title. Charlie has previously
played for AFC Wimbledon and Sutton United.
