Radradra had a superb 2015 and was easily the best wing in the NRL. Semi scored 24 tries in just 18
games, at least two tries in 8 games and was kept off the scoresheet just four times. All of those
things form the reason for the downward projection; when you get a statistical outlier, the most
likely result the next year is for some regression. It’s the same reason I’m a bit down on James
Tedesco and RTS. With all three of these players it makes more sense to me to target them as midseason
upgrades, by then you’ll have a fair idea on their value and it probably won’t be much more,
and it could be a lot less, than their starting price.

IDG was used as an interchange player in 13 of his 17 appearances, averaging 19, and as a starting
hooker four times averaging 48. It seems unlikely IDG will have a regular spot on the interchange
bench as the spot could be better utilised by a middle forward. Other than spot roles on the
interchange the most likely chance for IDG is an injury to Nathan Peats, and he has shown in the
past, he’s a very good scorer if that was to occur.
