The United States Securities Exchange Commission<br />

("SEC") brings this civil action against Defendants Mark<br />

Leslie ("Leslie"), Kenneth Lonchar ("Lonchar"), and Paul<br />

Sallaberry ("Sallaberry"). 2 Defendants are former<br />

officers, directors, or executives of Veritas Software<br />

Corporation ("Veritas"), a California corporation with<br />

common stock registered with the SEC during the period<br />

at issue herein. 3 The SEC asserts six claims for relief: (1)<br />

fraud in connection with the offer or sale of Veritas stock,
