Adult Co-Ed Kickball<br />

Looking for something FUN that is sure to take you back a few<br />

years? Our Co-Ed Kickball League is for you!<br />

The league will be limited to eight teams playing a 8-game<br />

regular season.<br />

League play will begin in early-May at Deerpath Park and/or<br />

the Vernon Hills Athletic Complex (VHAC).<br />

Games will have start times of 6:30 pm, 7:25 pm, 8:20 pm<br />

and 9:15 pm.<br />

T-shirts and a cash prize will be awarded to the regular<br />

season winners.<br />

All teams will play in the single elimination Kickball Kup<br />

Tournament at the end of the season.<br />

The tournament champions will be hoisting the Kickball Kup<br />

trophy.<br />

Information packets will be available on-line and at the<br />

Sullivan Community Center by March 8.<br />

Fee: $510 per team (16 players max per team)<br />

Adult Softball Leagues<br />

The Park District offers multiple spring/summer<br />

adult softball leagues.<br />

League play is from May 9 to mid August .<br />

Each league is limited to nine teams playing a 10-game<br />

regular season, with the top 4 advancing to a post-season<br />

tournament.<br />

League champions will receive a cash award.<br />

Tournament winners will be awarded t-shirts or a trophy.<br />

Games will be played at 6:15 pm, 7:15 pm, 8:15 pm and<br />

9:15 pm at the Vernon Hills Athletic Complex , Deerpath Park,<br />

and/or Century Park.<br />

Leagues and days are to be determined.<br />

Information packets will be available on-line and at the<br />

Sullivan Community Center by March 8.<br />

Fees: Men’s League Team Fee: $765<br />

Softball/Kickball Registration Timeline<br />

March 21-27 ............. Teams with 60% residents on rosters (proof of residency required at time of registration).<br />

Teams registering in this category must maintain the 60% ratio throughout the season.<br />

March 28-April 3 ....... Returning teams from the previous year that do not meet the 60% residency requirements.<br />

April 4 ....................... Open registration<br />

April 24 ..................... Registration Deadline<br />

Open Table Tennis Play<br />

All ages, all skill levels welcome!<br />

Tuesdays & Fridays, 6:00-9:00 pm<br />

Table Tennis Lessons<br />

Learn table tennis from the pros! 2001 Illinois State Champion<br />

Engelbert Solis is teaching an 8-week course on the fundamentals<br />

of this fast paced sport. Get hands-on training in a class<br />

setting with coaches and a table tennis robot. Lessons include<br />

the basic forehand/backhand stroke, pushing, blocking, smash,<br />

serving and advanced techniques such as looping, footwork,<br />

proper body mechanics and serve returns. After your lesson,<br />

feel free to stay for open table tennis at no additional fee.<br />

All ages welcome.<br />

Sullivan Community Center Gym<br />

Adult Co-Rec Volleyball<br />

Join us for informal volleyball! Individuals will be randomly<br />

grouped to form teams each week. A supervisor will be on site<br />

to ensure equal playing time. A minimum of 11 participants<br />

must be registered in the full 10-week session or the program<br />

will be cancelled. If you can’t commit to the full session, we<br />

accept a limited number of daily admissions to the program.<br />

beginning at 6:00pm on the day of the program at the Sullivan<br />

Community Center. Daily participants will be required to sign a<br />

waiver and pay the daily fee before arriving at the school gym for<br />

volleyball. You must be on the class roster or have a daily receipt<br />

to participate.<br />
