INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS<br />
1. The bidders have to down load the tenders from website <strong>and</strong> pay the tender fees<br />
(Non-refundable) as per Tender Notice <strong>and</strong> EMD while submission <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fer . No page<br />
from the tender documents shall be defaced or detached. In addition, the bidder<br />
shall make no correction in the tender documents. Any over writings or corrections<br />
or manuscript in the Bid will be ignored <strong>and</strong> will not be considered authentic unless<br />
the same are properly authenticated with the signature <strong>and</strong> seal <strong>of</strong> the Bidder. Any<br />
comments which the bidder desires to make, shall not be placed on the tender<br />
documents, but shall take the form <strong>of</strong> a separate statement, as brief as possible, <strong>and</strong><br />
giving reference to pages <strong>and</strong> clauses <strong>of</strong> the tender documents.<br />
2. Total work will be commenced within fifteen days from date <strong>of</strong> issue <strong>of</strong> work order<br />
<strong>and</strong> shall be completed within 360days <strong>of</strong> date <strong>of</strong> issue <strong>of</strong> commencement letter.<br />
3. All <strong>and</strong> complete tender documents, as prescribed, are to be returned along with all<br />
rejoinders. Bidders are forbidden from furnishing their own printed / typed<br />
commercial & other terms <strong>and</strong> conditions.<br />
4. (a) All the Bidders are requested to indicate the name <strong>of</strong> their Authorized<br />
Representative with Designation <strong>and</strong> full address, phone, mobile, E-Mail <strong>and</strong> fax<br />
number etc. in the Tender documents itself. In case the representative is changed<br />
during the course <strong>of</strong> execution <strong>of</strong> the contract, the contractor immediately shall<br />
notify the same, failing which electricity department <strong>Daman</strong> will not have any<br />
responsibility <strong>of</strong> contractual implication.<br />
5. (a) The bidders shall specifically note that quantities in case <strong>of</strong> some items<br />
mentioned in Schedules in part –IV <strong>of</strong> the tender may vary as per actual<br />
requirement. As such, the successful bidder shall have to execute the work at the<br />
same rates <strong>of</strong> the order for the changed / increased quantities if any, without any<br />
extra compensation whatsoever.<br />
6. Bidder shall have to submit 4(Four) copies <strong>of</strong> bidding schedules (as included in<br />
PART-IV) quoted, in a separate sealed envelope,<br />
7. The Bidders will ensure submission <strong>of</strong> Tenders duly filled in before due date <strong>and</strong><br />
time.<br />
