ISID Governance<br />
The Society is governed by a Council that is elected by the membership. The Council is organized according<br />
to geographic regi<strong>on</strong>s to ensure representati<strong>on</strong> from all areas of the world. The membership, up<strong>on</strong> the<br />
recommendati<strong>on</strong> of the Council, also approves the compositi<strong>on</strong> of the Executive Committee and its officers.<br />
The Executive Committee of the Society is charged with overall resp<strong>on</strong>sibility for the Society’s activities.<br />
Executive Committee and council members serve <strong>on</strong> the Research, Educati<strong>on</strong> and Publicati<strong>on</strong>, External<br />
Affairs, ProMED, Finance and Nominati<strong>on</strong>s Sub-Committees.<br />
