MU continues to meet at St. Luke’s
Brownsville on the fourth Tuesday of each
month. We have an average of 26 people who
meet together.
During last year we enjoyed the four Bible
Studies which had been prepared by MU and
they were on “Being the disciple Jesus wants
us to be”.
MU Dapto
We devoted one of our meeting to the Street
Crew Ministry in our church. We enjoyed
hearing from Rev. Stephen Swanepoel as he
updated us on this ministry and we were able
to give a donation to them.
We welcomed three new members into our
group.

Men’s Karting
by Picton Kart Track and this informal time
gave guests and also DAC members from
different services a chance to get to know each
other. Jason McPhail was also on hand to be
interviewed and to relate some of his
experiences, as a missionary, to the racing
action of the day.
For the second year 24 enthusiastic thrill
seekers turned out to compete in a team
karting challenge at the Picton Kart Track
hosted by DAC Men. Competitors were
arranged into teams of 4 where experience
and weight was used to balance the team’s
performance so that over the course of the 4
races each team had a similar chance of
accumulating more points and becoming
victorious. This format proved successful with
camaraderie developing between team
members as they watched each other’s races
and offered suggestions for improvement.
At the end of the day, the podium was filled
with many new faces, giving a new batch the
thrill of taking home a trophy.

7 were guests and 4 were women.
