Work with light weights and dynabands to
develop strength and muscle tone.
Seniorcise with Tony Diaz
Every Thursday, 11:15a.m.
A donation of $1.00 per class is suggested.
Dynabands cost-$5.00, center provides
weights. This exercise program is for
adults 60+ and must live in Lexington
County.
Walking
Daily, 9:45 a.m.-10:45 a.m.
We have a paved lighted walking track
behind the center, each lap is 870 ft.
Which means 6 laps makes a mile. Let’s all
get into exercising, summer is around the
corner.
Horseshoes/Bocce/Disc Golf
Monday –Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Grab a partner and enjoy friendly competition.
Ask a staff member for the equipment
anytime weather permits. Horseshoe
Tournament will be held in May.

We recognize all birthdays for the month
with a birthday cake.
Library

Last Tuesday of the month, 11:30 a.m.
Her staff plans a special program for our
group.
Lunch Daily
Served daily at noon.
Those 60 years and older may join us for a
hot, nutritious meal. Must make reservation
no later than noon the previous day.
Puzzles & Games
Join friends to put together a jigsaw puzzle
or for a game of dominoes in the
mornings, or at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon
for Canasta or Phase 10.

A special time to let all of our volunteers
know how much they are needed and
appreciated. The love they have is endless.

Christmas in Lexington County
Saturday, April 23
A one day blitz to do minor repairs and
painting on homes of elderly persons, 60
years and older, living in Lexington
County.
Senior Appreciation Day
Friday, May 6
A annual event to honor our seniors, a day
of fun at Camp Kinard , come join us as we
fellowship with the other centers, have
good food, entertainment, door prizes
and fishing . Nice walking trail around
pond.
S.C. Senior Sports Classic
May 18-21
After local games those participant that
would like to may go on to the S.C. Seniors
Sports Games that are held at Francis
Marion University. What a great time we
will have, a lot of competitors and we
make a lot of new friends.
Mother’s /Father’s Day Celebration
Friday, June 10
A special day we’ll being honoring all the
mothers and fathers at Pelion Center.

Orangeburg Festival of Roses
Friday, April 29
Time- 2:00p.m.-4:00 p.m.
Seniors Day at the Festival we’ll gather
around the Garden Stage to join in games
of Bingo and entertainment, refreshments
and lots of fun. Come let’s see all the
beautiful roses and exhibiters.
